Standout tracks: “Long Live The Kids,” “Attention,” “Remember (To Forget You),” and “Windows in Heaven”
Over the past several years, I’ve really watched We Are The In Crowd grow up as artists. They started out as a tiny five piece band from Poughkeepsie, NY to opening for bands like Yellowcard to now headlining their first ever U.S. tour. This album is a huge step up for We Are The In Crowd. It’s got a much more mature sound, while still staying true to their pop-punk roots. All in all, the album is fantastic; it’s really a great representation of the band and the direction they want to go in.
CULT BY: BAYSIDE
Standout tracks: “Time Has Come,” “You’re No Match,” “Pigsty,” and “Something’s Wrong”
The word “cult” is one that often comes with negative connotations, but to Bayside’s fans, it’s more of a term of endearment; to them, it means family. Cult is Bayside’s sixth studio album and it hits its listeners with full force. This record is filled with power, dignity, and bitter pain from failed relationships. Cult is an extremely well rounded record with great flow from track to track. This album perfectly encompasses Bayside’s reputation as a punk rock powerhouse, showing that they are truly deserving of their cult following.
