After not releasing new music for three years, The Pretty Reckless is back with their new single, “Going To Hell,” which was released earlier today. I’ve been in love with this band ever since they first surfaced in the music scene, and I’m absolutely obsessed with this song. It’s not much different from their first album, Light Me Up, but it does have a harder rock vibe to it. “Going to Hell” is a more hardcore song compared to their others, but it still fits their style well.
“Going to Hell” will be available on iTunes on September 24th. Make sure to check out The Pretty Reckless on the Going to Hell tour this fall! Tickets and tour dates can be found here.
Over the past month or two, I’ve fallen hard for the band Twenty One Pilots. “Screen” is my absolute favorite song by the Columbus, Ohio duo. I love the mellow feel to the song (the ukelele is a different sound for the band, but it sounds great on this song and suits the band’s vibe well), but also the meaning behind it. The song was written for the fans of Twenty One Pilots and I think the lyrics and overall song really shows that.
I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do, and make sure to check out Twenty One Pilots on tour this fall with Fall Out Boy, and also on their headlining tour in the late fall. Also, if you’re into the song above, make sure to check out their newest album, Vessel, on iTunes.
